What Students, Educators, and Workshop Attendees Have to Say:

Arianna is a gifted teacher. She is graceful, open-hearted, highly intuitive, and easy to read. She is also not afraid to be in command- from such a loving and wise place that it truly supported us, it never got in the way. Her honesty was a beautiful example and set a natural tone for the class. Also, the “Lyrical Life” work was a tremendous gift; a superb example of trust and risk. Everyone benefited from this work. Thank you.
— - Student Quote from “Sounding the Well” workshop, Music for People weeklong "The Art of Improvisation"
- Arianna took a group of students who, for the most part, had never been on stage and made us all into performers. The very first class she set the tone and made us all feel as if anything we did was great. In the short period of time we were together, we not only bonded as a group, but her support and style of teaching allowed us to support one another that was so refreshing. We could do anything and nothing we did was wrong. I look forward to being in her class once again.
— John C., took an adult acting class with me at Actor’s Playhouse at Miracle Theatre and subsequently booked me for private coaching sessions for auditions
I’m writing to thank you for bringing your Healing Sounds presentation to the Women’s Project. It was a wonderful workshop – you are terrific at getting everyone up and involved! All the client evaluations were positive and everyone wanted you to return!
— Lauren Lesser, The Women’s Project, Beth Israel Medical Center, NY, NY
Your rain sticks class was tremendous and you were incredible with the children! I was amazed when I saw children that have been known never to sit, comfortably, actively, and productively involved in the artistic process. It was wonderful! The kids and families had a great time and your efforts made that possible. I hope you will consider working with our group again.
— Kim Hayden-Pless, The Autism Society of America of the Palm Beaches
I will really miss you when you’re gone. I learned to sing better because of you. We were just so, so, so excited you were here. I will really miss you!!!
— Alexandra Gallo, PS 75 NYC, Songwriting Residency
Our students were very enthusiastic about participating in the program; however, it is largely due to Ms. Rose’s wonderful spirit and infections enthusiasm that the children were so excited.
— Ms. T and Ms. D, PS 315 – The Performing Arts School, Brooklyn, NY, Songwriting Residency
Ms. Rose has delighted all staff and students with whom she worked. She has demonstrated preparedness, excellent classroom management, and an extremely high level of enthusiasm. Ms. Rose has earned an excellent reputation as a teaching artist. Moreover, she has earned the respect and admiration of the building administration, students and all faculty members, and has proven her ability to meld theory and practice and relate most effectively in a culturally diverse setting. I was particularly impressed with the collaboration among staff and students.
— Dr. Ronda Dawn Farkas, Principal, PS 152K School of Science and Technology, NY
It was spectacular! Rarely have I seen children so excited about learning, participating and willing to perform in front of hundreds of children as I did this semester with this program. This is due to the very hard work of Ms. Arianna Rose, your Teaching Artist, and my classroom teacher, Ms. Cecile Iboleon. The working relationship enjoyed by Ms. Rose and Ms. Cecile and children, clearly signaled to the students the seriousness of this opportunity, the high expectation of the program and the chance this afforded all students to grow. Ms. Rose was the consummate professional, always prepared, upbeat, positive and enthusiastic. Arianna brought out the best in the children and their teacher. She was a treasure
— Mr. Michael J. Deegan, Principal, Saint Jude School, NY NY
We were extremely pleased with all aspects of Ms. Rose’s residency in our school. She has a wonderful manner with the children. Her training, talent and effort produced a quality experience in the arts for our students. She worked very well with both the staff and children, always quite appropriate with both groups. While teaching, she maintained excellent control of the group along with effectively engaging the students. From the very start, the residency was set up with clearly stated goals, content, format and time frames. The overall content of the program was excellent. She is a talented professional who relates well to people, fulfilled her contract to the letter and provided an outstanding experience to our staff and students.
— Ms. Pat Schultz, Principal, G.C. Hartman Elementary Center, Catawissa, PA
As part of the Advisory team at Camp Romaca, Arianna had a difficult and very important job on her hands as department Head for our Performing Arts Workshop. She was always cheerful and dedicated to the program. She arrived in June completely prepared for the summer and more organized than almost every person on my staff. Arianna overhauled our performing arts program and made it more streamlined and enjoyable for everyone involved. Her new ideas were refreshing and her enthusiasm was contagious. Even with demanding deadlines and limited time to prepare shows, she was able to make our dramatic productions the best they’ve ever been. Her listening skills, as well as her communication skills, are exceptional. Besides being responsible and reliable, she was also flexible, creative and fun-loving. Her sincerity and genuine concern for others was apparent. I would be thrilled to have her return to my camp for many years to come.
— Jeannine Saltz, Owner/Director, Romaca Summer Camp for Girls.
